The second round of the Fiery Space Chicken Featured Talent Competition is now over!

Once again, congratulations to all the CollegeU minions for taking the first place! Extra cleverness points goes to them for using a seasonally appropriate video.

2nd place goes to The Tenderloins: The sex is in the mail!
Extra cleverness points go to them for using SEX as a way to APPEAL to the audience.

Thanks to Robotic Willy, Oren Brimer and Faction Film (Caucasian Asian) for their hilarious videos and thanks to all the people who visited and voted.

We will be taking a little break and the competition will come back, better and improved shortly. Most of the staff caught alcohol retardation during the Christmas break so we need a little sobering up before the next round.

Weekly-ish Featured Talent Competitions     18 December to 7 January

Every sort-of-week-or-two our Featured talent will pit their best new videos against each other. They are yours to see and vote on - our staff will then meet in their secret lair, check the votes, analyze the videos and proclaim a Fiery Space Chicken virtual Trophy Winner. The winner gets some sort of prize, league points, bragging rights and a special place in my heart. Kung Fu Karl and the guys at CollegeU won the first round!

An honorable mention goes to Oren Brimer for The Rag. It was a very close 4th place - close enough to feel bad if we don't mention it. Congratulations to everyone for a fine selection of videos - we'll try to do this as regularly as possible - for instance, round II is on right now! As participation will increase, MONEY PRIZES will too. Perhaps someday it will be as high as ONE BILLION DOLLARS - hopefully at that point we won't have to resort to deceptive all caps catch phrases :)

If you didn't have a chance to watch the videos, you still can: most of the videos are still hilarious, even though they're not officially in a competition.
