• Sabrina Jalees

Sabrina Jalees was the result of a carefully crafted plan for world domination brewed in 8005 B.C.by the SwissPaki tribe. Born in the butt-crack middle of the 1980's, she has taken the comedy world by storm... and is working on creating at least a heavy wind on the rest of the planet.

Since she set foot on the Yuk Yuk's stage for the first time at 16, she has been the youngest stand-up ever added to their professional roster. She later broke Mike Meyer's record for being the youngest artist hired by Second City. She has performed at the Just For Laughs Festival, recorded a Comedy NOW special for CTV and has toured across North America. The girl's had leading roles in CBC's Smart Ask and Toronto One's, The Toronto Show and, now that both shows got pulled, is proud to be studying Radio and Television at Ryerson University .

Balancing her school with stand-up, Sabrina has joined the award winning American based comedy tour Allah Made Me Funny in Toronto, Vancouver and Chicago. She recently shot her first film, playing the pregnant Sarah, in Lifetime's Mom At 16. Her comedy has landed her a leading role on Much Music's Video On Trial as well as many appearances on CBC Newsworld's The Hour. Sabrina has also branched out into the wonderful world of writing and is writing television shorts for The Comedy Network, CBC Radio and is a regular contributor for The Toronto Star's ID Section.

If all goes carefully craftily as planned, Sabrina should cause the biggest stir ever to hit the world... or become washed-up and bitter by the age of 25...
