Joe PontilloBorn in Rockville Centre, New York and raised since the tender age of nothing on the mean streets of Valley Stream, New York. Joe Pontillo has had aspirations of greatness in the field of entertainment since he was a young child. As he grew up Joe followed the careers of Jim Carrey, Howard Stern, and Jerry Seinfeld closely as he attempted to begin his quest. When he was 19 and attending Hofstra University Joe took his first stab at stand up comedy. It went horribly and is not even acknowledged except at family parties. On Februaray 25, 2004, Joe took the stage at Governor's in Levittown and that would be the start of his career. Of Joe's credits include being a finalist in Long Island's Funniest Comic contest in 2004 and 2006 as well Aside from being a comic Joe is also a writer and actor. Writing such cult classics as Frog Legs, Whatever Happened to John Babafu (2006 Director's Chair Film Festival) and Armageddon Anyone. Joe will also be appearing on The Learning Channel on the upcoming television series "Ultimate Blunders". He has also recently begun doing commercial work and more than likely this will lead to Joe making money and being known as the guy who didn't speak in that Vodka commercial that only aired in Brooklyn. Look for Joe to continue to be a rising star and a major player on the comedy scene. Joe's myspace Joe's website Joe Pontillo Videos RSS Feed Videos (3)Comments |
