    Darren Frost, born in Brantford Ontario, is a veteran on the comedy scene. He is uniquely eccentric and known as one of the reigning kings of “way-out” comedy. He began performing standup in 1992 and became a professional in 1995. Throughout his career, he has quit seven times, but always made sure he kept the comedy habit alive. Darren’s comedy has been said to thrive on hyper-driven criticisms, dark revelation and lunacy. He has made a name for himself as one of the most daring comedians in Canada.

    Darren has toured internationally, with shows at the Edinbrough Fringe Festival in Scotland. He has also appeared at the Peoples Comedy Festival in Toronto. In 1995, he performed in over 20 shows at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. Darren has been twice awarded Top 10 Comedy Moments of the Year by Toronto entertainment magazine, Now. He has also been awarded the prestigious Kari Award for Best Performance in a commercial in Canada,

    He has also had numerous movie and television appearances to his credit including «Hairspray», “Red Green”, “Assault on Precinct 13”, “Fever Pitch”, “Don’t Say A Word”, “You Stupid Man”, Disney’s “Santa Who?”, Showtime’s “Wild Iris”, USA Network’s “La Femme Nikita” , “Kojak” and he is one of the stars of Comedy Network’s edgy show “Gutterball Alley”. He also lends his voice to many cartoons including PBS’s “Timothy Goes to School”, “George Shrinks”, Showtime’s “Gahan Wilson’s The Kid”, and Fox’s “Medabots”. He can also be seen in many memorable national commercials as well. Darren’s side projects on the internet include “The Leather Chef”, an S&M cooking show seen at Unpluggedtv.com, short films for beer.com and his site, Comedywhore.com.
